Revised NEO Personality Inventory (NEO PI-R)

NEO PI-R is a standard questionnaire that measures the five major domains of personality (Big Five), as well as the six traits or facets that define each domain. Taken together, they provide a systematic assessment of emotional, interpersonal, experiential, attitudinal, and motivational styles - a detailed personality description that can be a valuable resource for a variety of professionals. 
 
Measures:
  • neuroticism - the emotional stability of the examinee;
  • extraversion - the sociability, energetic and activity of the examinee; 
  • openness to experience - the interest of the individual toward art and acquiring new experiences;  
  • agreeableness - the people skills; 
  • conscientiousness - the ability of the examinee to control, regulate, and direct their impulses.
 
Useful for: 
  • employees selection;
  • as an element in assessment/development center;
  • programs for talent identification;
  • assessment of development potential;
  • assessment of training needs. 
 
NEOPI-R has 240 items. The test has also a short version called NEO-FFI. Only by administrating the full version could be seen results from different facets.
