PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

Compliance with confidentiality and the protection of your personal data is an important matter for us, which we take into account in all our business relationships. We respect the confidentiality of your personal data and always act in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016. We respect your privacy and strictly monitor the protection of the personal data you provide to us. Our personal data policy is fully transparent and below we have described in detail the principles we follow.

1. Scope

The purpose of the Personal Data Protection Rules is to inform you how Prometriks Ltd. uses personal data, what information about the users of our websites and online platforms (“online services”) it collects and evaluates, and subsequently uses, provides to third parties or otherwise processes.

2. Data Collection
2.1. Data Provided by You

In principle, the disclosure of personal data is not required for the use of our services. If personal data (name, CV, postal address, email address) is collected within our services, this is done on a voluntary basis. For example, if you wish to receive a newsletter from us, additional information about services, as well as other direct marketing activities, we require your email address in order to send it to you. If you wish to apply for a job position, you voluntarily provide personal information that you consider relevant for the respective application process.

2.2. Automatically Collected Data

For reasons of data security and in order to optimize the usability of our online services, we also collect non-personal data. The following non-personal data is stored: the internet browser used; the operating system; technical events and session behavior metrics (such as window activity, time spent, and interface interactions, e.g., copying of content);the domain name of the website you last visited before accessing our website; the number of visits and the average time spent on our website, as well as the pages visited.

Such automatically collected data is not linked to data from other sources. However, we reserve the right to review such data in case specific indications of unlawful use arise.

2.3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

“Cookies” are small text files that are downloaded to your computer in order to facilitate your browsing. Through them we collect certain information from all visitors of the Platform, but only on publicly accessible pages (which do not require a username and password). They provide information about the use of the Platform and user data which we may use to personalize your user experience, as well as to track user traffic patterns. In addition, through cookies we may remind you of your previous activities and offer you similar services, goods, and events. We use the information collected through cookies for statistical analyses of Platform usage—for example, which pages are most frequently visited. These aggregated statistical data do not contain personal information. We also use social media sharing buttons and related plugins, through which you can connect more easily with social networks. For this purpose, Facebook creates cookies through the Platform, which may be used to enhance your profile on their site or be added to data they store for various purposes described in their privacy policies. The same applies to other social networks such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. We would like to point out that we, as a provider of online services, do not receive any information about the content of the transmitted data or their use by the respective social networks.

If you prefer not to receive cookies while browsing the Platform, you may refuse them by setting your browser to warn you before accepting a cookie or to refuse cookies when your browser indicates their presence. You may also refuse all cookies by disabling them in your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies will affect the functionality of this and many other websites you visit. By agreeing to use the Platform, you express your explicit consent to the use of cookies, including Google Analytics cookies, and declare that you have been given the opportunity to refuse the storage or access to this information.

2.4. Web Analytics

For the purposes of continuous functional optimization and ensuring maximum usability, some of our online services use the web analytics services and social plugins listed below. The data used for this purpose is exclusively non-personal.

Google Analytics (Google Tag Manager):
Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, uses cookies to analyze how users interact with our online services. As a rule, the information about your use of the online services generated by the cookie is transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States.
If IP anonymization is activated within our online services, your IP address will be shortened by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of the online services, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the online services, compile reports on online service activity, and provide other services related to online service usage and internet activity to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of our online services. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the online services (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Facebook Plugins (Share Button and Facebook Pixel):
You can recognize Facebook plugins, operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, by the Facebook logo or the “Share” button.
When you use our online services, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook thereby receives information that you have accessed our online services using your IP address. If you click the “Share” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link content from our online services to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your use of our online services with your user account. Facebook Pixel tracks how you interact with our website after viewing our advertisement, in order to optimize your user experience (e.g., whether you are using a mobile device or desktop). It allows us to show you products and services that are more relevant to you or that you have already shown interest in. It also helps improve the quality of the audiences reached by our advertising, ensuring it is shown primarily to users likely to be interested in our services.

Please note that we, as the provider of the online services, do not receive any information about the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. For more information, please refer to Facebook’s Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php . If you do not want Facebook to associate your use of our online services with your Facebook account, please log out of your Facebook account.

YouTube:
YouTube is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (a Google company).
When you use one of our online services that includes a YouTube plugin, a connection is established to YouTube servers and information about your use of our online services is transmitted to them. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your account. For more information, please refer to: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/

LinkedIn:
The LinkedIn network is provided by LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time you access one of our online services containing LinkedIn features, a connection to LinkedIn servers is established. LinkedIn is informed that you have accessed our online services with your IP address. If you click the “Recommend” button while logged into your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn may associate your use of our online services with your user account. Please note that we, as the provider of our online services, do not receive any information about the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn. For more information, please refer to: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
